I still remember my first ever trip from Delhi to Shimla by train and the only guidance tool I could find was a TTK map bought from a popular book agency and the only local tourist information office in Chandralok Building both in Connaught Place, Delhi. Luxury of the prior reservation was possible only after getting tired in waiting long ques at the sole reservation counter close to railway station of New Delhi.
It was a tiny Golden Triangle comprising of Book Shop, Tourist Office and Reservation Counter.
Local tourist office was to provide you printed brochures on your successive attempts if available giving you hardly giving any information about the destination besides hotel address and you could easily forget about the amenities and other facilities or local attractions for your trip as if it was your subject to explore. I still managed to make arrangements for the trip along with my three other friends and the trip for 3 nights 4 days was an amazing experience for us
Now I am telling you this story is is 2 a share with you that tourism is an ongoing desire and is related with your your wish and theme and pocket
If someone has a desire to travel a place with suitable pocket you would definitely fulfill is dream irrespective of getting suitable information or not time has changed since then and today everybody explores things well in advance and a virtual trip is done apri virtual trip is necessary now a days send a free virtual trip is almost necessary before you finally travel to the destination tourism has never been a necessity and will never be as it is purely a matter of ones individual choice looking for relaxation and of course time to spend and a supporting pocket is a must
Covid has put the entire tourism industry to a stand still and all the stakeholders are looking for governmental reliefs to survive in this toughest time
We should not forget tourism has never been a pivotal need and will never be particularly in a country where we are living literally for our livelyhood from hand to mouth
Government is sure post normalcy people will stick to their basics and will automatically look for their destinations and their awarded the interests of all the stakeholders serving the tourism industry
We should also not forget that barring few most off clients pocket-size is equally affected and the motto of travelling is almost at the edge of the circle or if not beyond that
Smartly the government has thought note 2 to use any measures investing funds in announcing any relief to the industry which is so called and autobuild service sector or industry which will come into its original shape or maybe higher shape once everything becomes normal
We have not made tourism rather it’s vice versa and this very fact
