[su_dropcap style=”simple” size=”5″]T[/su_dropcap]ill my teen age the closest experience of the jungles and its wild life was only through watching some documentaries shown occasionally on the national television. Besides this some wild life story and pictures books were also available in the public library which kept alive my mild interest towards the jungles of India and of course the wild creatures living in their natural habitat.

I was always passionate about travel and was lucky to be a part of serving the toursim sector. In my late twenties I got an opportunity to plan a weekend tour which was my first ever attempt to go and start experience of the jungle and its wild life. I had planned this trip and I was travelling with my wife and two years old son. It was the month of January and I had booked ourselves in a comfortable overnight train from Delhi to Sawai Madhopur.

With early morning arrival I found the local jeep was waiting right in time at the station and picked us well and we headed for our hotel Jhoomar Baori, an RTDC property. What better we could ask as we were heading towards our hotel watching some beautiful morning scenarios around us meanwhile we heard my son started lovingly pointing his finger towards a tree and uttering slowly from his mouth CAT. Suddenly our driver stopped the jeep and got our attention to the same point where my son was indicating, it was a LION. Amazed we were and it was a fraction of seconds that we could see it passing.

Well I got the glimpse of the jungle king and was pretty sure about my tour of being successful.
